Luke 18:18 – 30 teaches us about the rich young ruler who was sorrowful because God told him to sacrifice and give up his riches to follow him. Why was he sorrowful? I believe it was because he did not want to give up anything or sacrifice. We are always in a state of WANTING BUT NOT WILLING. In order to get change and transformation, we must be WILLING!! Willing to sacrifice for the GREAT OUTCOME and VICTORY MANIFESTATION!!!
The kidneys main function in the body is to filter waste from the blood. When waste products and excessive fluids build up in the blood, it results in kidney failure. The kidneys also balance electrolyte levels, determining how much water to release as urine, stimulate red blood cells production, and regulate blood pressure. When both kidneys fail completely, the only options are dialysis or transplant.
Kidney failure is determined by measuring Blood Urea Nitrogen(BUN), Creatinine, and Glomerular Filtration Rate (GFR) from a blood test.
Causes of Kidney failure can be blood loss, extreme dehydration, medication especially diuretics, and/or obstruction of blood flow to and from the kidneys.
The key to prevention is balance and PRO-activity. When you feed your body the proper nutrition, this diminishes inflammation and unwanted toxins. When the body is aligned and balanced mechanically with chiropractic care, the likelihood to need excessive pain medications, opiods, and cortisol injections is highly unlikely. So there are preventions solutions. Don’t wait until it is too late!
Chiropractic Care treats the body in a natural way. The purpose is not only to help relieve your problems with back and neck pain, but also to help the body heal itself from the inside out. Chronic pain can lead to weight gain due to decreased activity and poor sleeping and eating habits. By increasing Chiropractic care and healthier lifestyle habits, patients with weight problems will be able to achieve their desired weight goals.
It’s important to understand that the weight loss is not a direct result of Chiropractic adjustments; however, it will create a healthier environment for the body that can help in burning more calories. When spinal manipulation is performed it enhances flexibility and pressure within the spinal cord. Adjusting the spine helps the body absorb important nutrients that are needed for losing weight.
Back and neck injuries can cause major pain in which the patient sits or lies down most of the time in order to help relieve some of the pain. Without exercise and more calorie intake, you are likely to gain more weight while healing. In a study of more than 1,200 workers who injured their backs at work and were subsequently put on leave for 180 days or longer, more than 13 percent reported a notable increase in weight, as published in a 2013 issue of the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
It is important that patients understand the importance of a healthy diet when experiencing back, neck, and other causes of pain. There are foods that are geared specifically for inflammation which will help decrease some of the swelling as well as pain. These foods include but not limited to:
These foods along with regular Chiropractic adjustments and exercise will help you lose the weight that you desire.
According to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, it estimates that more than 400,000 people in the United States and about 2.5 million people around the world have MS. About 200 new cases are diagnosed each week in the United States.
Multiple sclerosis attacks the body’s immune system and eats away at the myelin sheath that surrounds the brain and spinal cord. This sheath is a fatty white substance that helps to form an electrical insulation surrounding nerves in the brain and spinal cord. This determines the speed at which a nerve impulse can travel. This is necessary for the proper functioning of the nervous system.
Symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis include but is not limited to:
ü Numbness or weakness in one or more limbs
ü Loss of vision, this may be partial or complete
ü Blurred or double vision
ü Tingling Sensations
ü Difficulty walking
Though this disease can be debilitating there are some things that will help make this disease slightly more manageable.
1. Avoiding inflammation causing foods can help. Foods rich in fiber helps to reduce inflammation in the body. A few studies have found that people who eat diets high in fiber have lower C-reactive protein (CRP) levels in their blood. CRP is a marker of inflammation
2. Exercises like Yoga, Pilates, and stretching can be very beneficial.
3. Chiropractic. The goal of Chiropractic care is to restore normal function to the patient’s joints, focusing on the spine and nervous system. Chiropractic care is a natural fit for a patient who is looking for a way to reduce pain without extra medication. Although chiropractic care is not a cure for the disease, evidence suggests that it may be the most effective for easing spine related pain.
